On Sunday, June 4, 2017, the summer journalism workshop for teens took a trip to Fourth Avenue to take pictures for their blogs. Their assignment was to take pictures of individuals and ask for their information in case the picture gets published in an article. They could also take pictures of random objects they found interesting.
I personally enjoyed noticing people going about their lives and trying to photograph not only the people but also the mood. It was challenging to capture it all because people would notice us and probably felt as if they were being stalked. It was fine because afterward, we talked to them and explained what was going on. Overall, I enjoyed this project, and the others participants did as well.
