Audio Clip of Interview
Chad Mosher, Ph.D, is the program coordinator at Living Out Loud, a behavioral health health and wellness center in midtown Tucson that provides support and resources for the LGBTQ community and their families and friends. For more information please go to www.LivingOutLoudAZ.org. Participants of this summer's Journalism Diversity Workshop for Arizona High School Students invited Mosher to be their guest at a radio boot camp with instructors Vanessa Barchfield and Zac Ziegler of Arizona Public Media. The interview you can access below is the result of the visit. The photo, taken by workshop director Elena Stauffer, shows Salome High School student Thomas Lard (holding the microphone), Ziegler (back left), City High School participant Jane Bendickson, and Mosher. One of the points made by Mosher in this 16-minute interview is that for LGBTQ people, "coming out" is not a moment but a life process.
