Welcome one, welcome all to a blog which in no way transcends the medium of contemporary electronic blogging. In fact, I'd venture to say that it actually un-cends it (case in point, that entirely made-up word, as well as the fully ludicrous sentence it was attached to). All joking aside, this blog will primarily serve to provide a written account of the various daily academic and social interactions which constitute the University of Arizona's 2016 Journalism Diversity Workshop, as well as any thoughts, revelations or, yes, musings that I have in retrospect. Accompanying the various posts describing my daily experiences will be photos to provide additional exposure to my day's events, as well as to give my blog credibility. These photos will mostly be my own, with a few borrowed from other photographers with their permission, of course. You can find those underneath this post. I'm sure you can already see them. Unless you're blind. In which case you wouldn't even be able to read any of this, rendering everything I am currently typing completely unnecessary. Where was I? Oh yes! Blog! We really should get underway with that. That being said, it is my privilege to present: The Musings of a Cardigan-Clad Man!
